WELCOME! I'm happy you're here!
I'm a children's picture book author and write exciting stories about girl and boy twins with fun facts mixed in. My books are based on my travels and they take place in real locations. I love taking photos and am using my photos for 1/2 the backgrounds of my books.
Hi! I'm a mom, grandma and retired preschool teacher. I've combined my passions of travel and photography to write “The Adventure Twins Hike the Valley of Fire”, the story of sister and brother twins traveling with their family and helping one another.
My husband Glen and I hiked in Valley of Fire State Park three times, once in 110 degree weather! I used my photos as the background for 1/2 this book and my book is being sold at the Valley of Fire Visitor Center.
I've already written Book 2 in the Adventure Twins series and it's now being illustrated. I'm using my photos as the backgrounds for each adventure.
When I'm not traveling and taking thousands of photos, I keep busy. Glen and I spend time with our 3 grandchildren and usher several times a month at our local theater. I reside in New Jersey near both my sons and their families.
Imagine towering red rocks, exciting trails and brave twins ready to explore it all! “The Adventure Twins Hike the Valley of Fire” is packed with adventure, discovery and a whole lot of fun, perfect for little explorers and you!
Join Vicki and David, 8-year-old twins, as they hike with their parents through the red rocks of Nevada. Vicki loves to climb but David is afraid. When his baseball cap flies up onto a high rock formation, will he overcome his fear to retrieve it?
Your little ones (and you!) will learn fun facts about the rock formations while viewing my stunning photos of Valley of Fire State Park throughout the book.
And Vicki and David will inspire children to help one another in solving problems! Perfect for ages 3-8.
This is the first book in the Adventure Twins series! Book 2 is now being illustrated. Where will they go next?
